A. On Occasion we do in connection with a promotion. Register to receive notice of these offers.
Q. How are shipping charges calculated ?
A. Our shipping charges are based on weight and Postal Zones. At Structures and Trains by Fred we believe if you buy something at a dicounted price, you should be albe to enjoy the discount without be charged some outrages fee that includes Packing & Handling charge, plus a shipping fee.
Q. I can not login.
A. Be sure that you have typed your email address correctly. Your Password is case sensative. Be sure that you have entered Capital and lower case characters properly.
Q. Item does not show in shopping cart.
A. This could be that the item is currently out of stock. We do our best to have the items we display in stock and update our site on a regular basis. Sometimes we miss an item but you are always welcome to call us at 630.761.6550 to check availability.
Q. Got the wrong item. What do I do?
A. I would like to say we are perfect, but sometime, rarely, we mess up. If that happens please call us and we will correct the mistake. Please return the item via Priorty Mail. Enclose a copy of your receipt from the post office. We will send the correct item as well as issue a check in the amount of the postal charge and include with the shipment.
Q. Can I return a Item.
A. Of course. We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Like many of our suppliers if we order the wrong thing we are often hit with a restocking charge of 20%. Unfortunately we have the same charge. The cost of shipping the item back is your responsibility. The item must be returned in the original packaging and the seal must be unbroken. Upon receipt of the item we will refund your purchase less the 20% and less the shipping charge.
Q. Item arrived damaged. What do I do.
A. Call us immediately. 630.761.6550. We insure all items we ship. Please take a photo of the package. Return the item via Priory Mail. We will replace the item upon receipt the cost of shipping to you.
