This 83’ Pullman heavyweight 3-2 observation car is painted Canadian Pacific’s maroon with black roof and imitation gold lettering. It was built for Quebec Central Railway (QCR), a subsidiary of Canadian Pacific, in June 1896 and runs on sixwheel passenger trucks. In 1912, Canadian Pacific assigned #23 it to the QCR with the name “Megantic.” On August 23, 1935, the CP re-named it “Beauce.” the car was again re-numbered #23 on September 26, 1939.
