The Lafayette set recognizes the 4-2-0 locomotive that was B&O's first engine with a leading truck and a horizontal boiler. Set includes a Norris 4-2-0 B&O Lafayette locomotive with a hand-tooled coal loader in the tender, three historical B&O passenger cars, skew-wound motor with hardened carbon brushes, metal detail parts, nickel-silver wheels, a 47 x 38" oval of nickel-silver E-Z track, a UL-listed power pack and an illustrated instructional manual.
